The visit of FORTHEM Alliance representatives to the "Lucian Blaga" of Sibiu University Library, on March the 22nd

In the programme of the event "European Language Degree Meeting - second staff week", held by the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu on 20-24 March 2023, representatives from the partner universities of the FORTHEM Alliance (University of Burgundy, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, University of Latvia, University of Valencia, University of Agder, University of Palermo) also visited the Library of the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu, and were pleasantly impressed by the library resources and the layout of the space, in particular by the relaxation area on the ground floor, where students can browse art books, magazines and books while sitting on sofas or put together puzzles during breaks from lectures or study.

After the guided tour of the library, guests discussed possible partnerships and exchanges with library representatives.
The FORTHEM Alliance (https://www.forthem-alliance.eu/) is composed of 9 partner universities that have recently signed the renewal of the Framework Agreement for the next four years, committing to a series of activities to be proposed for funding to the European Commission.
