The Metropolitan Library, previously called Dacoromanica, offers access to digitized documents of text, image, audio or video type, faithful digital copies of documents both in the library heritage, as well as other institutions holding heritage funds (the Library of the Romanian Academy, the Institute of History "Nicolae Iorga", the Museum of Romanian Literature). It is developed in the digital object management system DIGITOOL[3], implemented since 2009. - Digital Library of LBUS - DSpace repository - contains scanned books for the projects: Europeana Libraries 2011-2012 ; Europeana Cloud 2013-2015 ; Cultural projects for Sibiu City Hall, Sibiu County Council - years 2016 - 2020.
