Why is it worth it to have a library card?
You have access to all library services:- Access to comfortable and equipped study spaces (wireless, laptops, scanners, printers etc.)
- Access to social space for team working
- Access to the Internet room
- Access to the Multimedia space
- Access to the library's publications and resources (books, magazines, encyclopedias, albums, textbooks, standards, doctoral theses etc.) in analog and/or digital format
- Access to the library's resources in audio or video format
- Lend books home
- Access to the interlibrary loan service if there are publications that we don't have in our library
- Access to the bibliographic references based on keywords, or subject/theme in the desired fields (we are waiting for requests on the address biblioteca@ulbsibiu.ro)
- Anti-plagiarism checking of undergraduates theses in *.doc or pdf format that are sent to biblioteca@ulbsibiu.ro
- Scanning, photocopying
- Renting individual study rooms
- Seat reservation in the study hall and online reservation of publications
- Access to the library's resources from anywhere using the institutional address/affiliation.
Beneficiaries without an institutional address can access the online resources, in the study hall, with just their library card
- Access to the platform Bibliographies (Bibliografii) online
- Access to subscribed Scientific databases – books, magazines and journals
- Mobile access or access from outside the university network
- Access to the Digital Library of LBUS , with resources available to anyone, containing digitized publications within national and international cultural projects carried out by the library of LBUS; photos and articles which can be used for the development of specialized works
