Who can benefit from the library card?

1. LBUS students, masters and PhD students – free of charge;
2. LBUS teaching and non-teaching staff – free of charge;
3. LBUS affiliated researchers – free of charge;
4. Resident doctors and medical staff from Sibiu – free of charge;
5. External users: students – free of charge; teachers, students and teachers from other universities etc. – 25 lei/year.

What documents are required to issue the card?

1. Identity card / Passport;
2. Student ID card or university student receipt;
3. Certificate or proof of service for teachers in pre-university education;
4. Application for external users, to be filled in at the library.

Where can the card be issued?


On the ground floor of the library, from Monday to Friday, between 9 am and 4 pm, by presenting the necessary documents and filling in the contract form, at the Card Issuing Desk.
You can also apply for a card online by filling in the online loan contract form.
