Acquisition proposals

The ULBS Library accepts acquisition proposals for documentary resources, regardless of bibliographic type, format or medium, from its users: teaching staff, researchers, students and PhD students. You can propose the acquisition of books included in the study bibliography that you have not found in our library, as well as other publications you need for documentation.

Ways for requesting acquisitions:

Book donation proposals

The ULBS Library receives donations of Romanian and foreign publications from donors, whether individuals or legal entities, based on their informational and heritage value.

In order for the library to select titles of interest, the donor must send a list of publications providing some details about them, such as: title, author, year of publication, number of volumes and their condition. The library will evaluate the proposal and decide whether to accept it either partially or in full.

Ways to propose a donation:

The message must contain the following information:
– Number of volumes
– Year of publication
– Fields (e.g. literature, sciences, medicine, economics etc.)
– A brief description of the donation (old/new books, condition etc.)
– Personal details: first name, last name, email and city.
